Particle Background Effects for WordPress

Bokeh, snow, embers, fireflies and confetti as an animated particle background for any WordPress page. 37 one-click presets.

What you can build

Particle background for a WordPress hero section

Start from a preset such as Bokeh Dream, Embers, Magnetic Field or Living Constellation and set it behind a hero. The Generals controls set Amount, Min Size, Random Sizes and Z-Index, so you decide how many particles appear, how large they run and where they sit in the stacking order.

Movement controls cover Direction, Min Speed, Varying Speed, Bounce, Vortex Effect and Spin for shapes. Connect Particles with Lines links them with a network, with controls for Line Strength, Line Opacity and Max. Distance, the basis of presets like Ink Network, Filament Mesh and Neural Crawl.

Bokeh and glow overlays for images

For an overlay on an image, the bokeh family runs from Bokeh Gold and Bokeh Aurora to Bokeh Neon, Bokeh Frost and Liquid Bokeh. Soft Glow adds Bright Core for bokeh, Softness and a Blend Mode setting.

Particles Opacity sets Max and Min Opacity with a random option, and the Animate Particle Opacity and Animate Particle Sizes groups each carry Speed, Min Size and Synchronize controls.

Snow, rain, confetti and fireflies

Seven weather presets include Soft Snow, Heavy Snow, Blizzard, Gentle Rain, Storm Rain, Autumn Breeze and Leaf Storm. The Weather controls set Wind left or right, Gust Strength, Gust Cycle, Turbulence, Depth, Fall Speed, Flutter, Rain Streak Length, Max. and Min. Gravity, and Drift.

For celebration pages there are Confetti, Confetti Cannon, Party Poppers and Party Stars, plus Fireflies, Falling Petals, Falling Blossom, Starry Night and Bubble Swell. Listeners add Hover Mode and Click Mode, and the Lifecycle group sets Grow & Fade with Duration and Growth.

Saving looks and morphing between them

A States tab on the layer saves up to 24 looks, which you can load, overwrite, reorder and rename. Slide Based assigns a state, or Off, per slide. Layer actions morph between states, replay emitter bursts, and play or pause.

The Advanced Physics controls add flow fields, continuous and burst emitters, swarm behaviour, motion trails, focus and depth, tumbling petals and confetti, soap bubbles and textured fog. Nine presets combine these controls.
