Advanced Color Animation Options
Color animation allows you to transition between colors of two types: text color and layer background color.
In this guide we’ll step through the options that control this functionally, contained in the Color tab of the Advanced panel:
Color Tab
Text
The Text option is used on text layers to animate between multiple text colors:
To enable text color animation, toggle the Text option to ON. The Color option will then appear below:
Color
The Color option can be used to set a text color for the currently selected keyframe:
Click the Color option to open the Color Selection Dialogue Box and choose a color.
Note: Any color selected here will override the layer’s default text color.
Background
The Background option is used to animate between multiple background colors on a layer:
To enable background color animation, toggle the Background option to ON. The Color option will then appear below:
Color

Note: Any color selected here will override the layer’s default background color.
